Academic Writing in University. Vocabulary Use’s Peculiarities

Academic writing in university requires the use of particular vocabulary. What can be said about this vocabulary? First of all, the student is to use a good variety of synonyms in one’s writing research paper. Those synonyms should belong to formal style. No words of colloquial style, jargon or slang are allowed. In addition, another common problem is the proper use of synonyms. The student is to apply only those ones which will be relevant for the particular case.
